Reset Central Unit CU3-XX

CU3-XX (07M, 08M, 09M, 10M) Factory Reset Manual

Note: Performing a factory reset will erase all current settings and configurations on the CU (Central Unit). Ensure you have backed up any important data before proceeding.

  1. Power Off the CU: Locate the power source of the CU and switch it off. Ensure that the CU is completely powered down before proceeding.

  2. Locate the Reset Button: The reset button is located on the top of the CU, but it's hidden. You will need a long pin or similar tool to access it. Carefully insert the pin into the reset button slot.

  3. Press and Hold the Reset Button: Using the pin, press and hold down the reset button firmly. Hold the button down throughout the entire process until instructed otherwise.

  4. Power On the CU: While continuing to hold down the reset button, switch the power source of the CU back on. Keep holding the reset button.

  5. Release the Reset Button: After approximately 15 seconds, release the reset button. Make sure to hold it for the entire duration to ensure the reset process initiates correctly.

  6. Observe LED Blinking: Upon releasing the reset button, observe the LED indicators on the CU. Initially, they will blink blue, indicating that the reset process has started.

  7. Wait for Restart: Allow the CU to complete the reset process. It will automatically restart once the reset is finished. This may take a few moments.

  8. Default IP Confirmation: After the restart, the CU will revert to its default settings, including the default IP address of 192.168.1.1. You can now proceed to access the CU using this default IP address.

  9. Configuration After Reset: Following the factory reset, you will need to reconfigure the CU with your desired settings. You can access the CU's interface using the default IP address and proceed with the setup process as required.

Congratulations! You have successfully performed a factory reset on the CU3-XX (07M, 08M, 09M, 10M).
