Trouble shooting

The device cannot start up or power off automatically.

  • Check whether LED light isn’t powered on.

  • Check whether both 12VDC power adaptor and PoE switch can’t power on?

  • Change another 12VDC power adaptor or PoE switch to try again.

Door station can’t make the call to indoor monitor.

  • Make sure the Door station and Indoor monitor are in the same network segment.

  • Make sure the Building no. and Unit no. are the same on Door station and Indoor monitor.

  • Make sure the indoor monitor Device no. is 0 (= Main indoor monitor).

No audio when Door station making the call to Indoor monitor..

  • Check the volume settings of both the Indoor monitor and Door station is not mute and try increasing the volume.

  • Use another Door station or Indoor monitor to make the call to check whether there's audio.

  • Upgrade Door station and Indoor monitor to the latest firmware.

The Indoor Monitor cannot monitor the Door Station.

  • Make sure another user isn’t using the system, else you can use it once he/she finishes the operation.

  • Make sure the Door station and Indoor monitor are in the same network segment.

  • Make sure the Building no. and Unit no. are the same of Door station and Indoor monitor.

  • Click 'Search' icon in the Indoor monitor's user interface (Settings/Setup > Doors), to find the Door station and save.

No video when Door station making the call to Indoor monitor

  • Reduce the resolution of Door station to check again.

  • Check whether VLC can monitor the Door station.

  • Upgrade Door station and Indoor monitor to the latest firmware and try again.

  • Check whether there's another NVR or VLC monitoring door station. If yes, disable it and make the video call again.

  • Try to re-plug the FFC cable of the camera on Door station.

Indoor monitor can't receive the call but can make the outgoing call.

  • Check whether Indoor monitor enabled DND (Do Not Disturb) feature.

  • Multimedia files cannot be played normally.

  • Check whether the system supports the file format. Please refer to the multimedia setting for details.

The temperature of device is too high.

  • Long-term use leads to high temperature. It is normal and will not affect the device’s use life and performance..

The Indoor Monitor display screen is too dim.

  • Check whether the brightness and contrast settings of screen are correct.

No response when clicking Indoor Monitor display screen.

  • Press "Unlock" button for 5s or slowly slide horizontally or vertically onto the LCD to make touchscreen calibration. It needs to be calibrated.

Touchscreen responses slowly or cannot make calibration.

  • Take down any protective paster since it may affect identification and input for device.

  • Ensure the finger is dry and clean when clicking touchscreen.

  • Restart the device to clear any temporary software error.
