# Service

**mDNS Hostname**

* Default value is elan.
* Allows accessing the device via browser at elan.local instead of IP 192.168.1.1.
* Hostname can be changed (e.g., elan1.local).

**WIFI (AP)**

* View and change access point SSID and password.

**WIFI Client**

* Configure eLAN connection to home WiFi.
* Scan available networks.
* Option to set static IP to avoid IP changes.

**Date & Time**

* Set date and time.
* Default mode uses internet time (NTP).

**Firmware Update**

* Upload new firmware.
* Firmware available at elkoep.cz or elkoep.com.

**Backup and Restore**

* Create backup of current configuration.
* Restore backup from file.

**eLAN Reset**

* Delete configuration except WiFi.
* Factory reset deletes all settings including WiFi.

**eLAN Restart**

* Restart device without losing configuration.

**System Information**

* View diagnostic and service information including RF config.

**Web Remote Control**

* Remote service access via one-time token.
