Used by every pairing procedure in this manual.* Every iNELS Wireless receiver has one **PROG** button. What it does depends on **how long you hold it** — and those times are **not the same on every unit**. {% hint style="danger" %} **Do not use one generic time for all units.** On an RFSAI-61B-SL, holding PROG for 5 s already starts *clearing* a button; on an RFSAI-62B-SL, 5 s is still pairing. Look up your unit below before you start. **Watch the LED** — it tells you which mode you have reached (once per second = programming, 4× per second = clear). {% endhint %} ## How to read the table | Column | What it does | What you see | | ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- | | **Short press** | Under 1 s. Manual control of the output — or, in programming mode, **finish** programming | Output toggles / LED returns to normal | | **Enter programming** | The unit waits for a transmitter button | LED flashes once per second | | **Clear one button** | The next transmitter button you press is removed | LED flashes 4× per second, then one long flash to confirm | | **Clear whole memory** | Factory reset: every paired button is removed; the unit then stays in programming mode | LED flashes 4× per second, then every 0.5 s (up to 4 min) | **Factory reset = clear whole memory.** There is no separate "hold more than 12 s" step. ## Units with no PROG button Transmitters — wall controllers, key fobs, detectors, input modules and sensors — do not have a PROG button that you hold. They are paired from their own pairing button or by inserting the battery, **and the PROG time that matters is the one of the receiver** you are pairing them to.
