# Rooms/ Zones

### Automatic Room Synchronization

After a gateway is successfully connected, iNELS Harmony automatically synchronizes all available system data from the connected installation.

The following items are imported automatically:

* Rooms
* Devices
* Readers
* Data Points
* Control Objects

All rooms are imported directly from the iNELS configuration. Manual room creation is not required, which significantly reduces setup time and ensures consistency between the control system and the hotel management platform.

### Floor Configuration

To reflect the physical layout of the hotel, create floors within the Service Interface.

#### Creating a Floor

1. Navigate to **Rooms**.
2. Locate the desired room in the room list.
3. Click the **Edit** icon in the **Action** column.
4. The **Edit Room** window will open.

* Room Name
* Room Number
* Room Type
* Maximum Number of Persons
* Floor Assignment
* Room Icon

### Floor Assignment

The floor is assigned directly within the room configuration.

1. Open the room using the **Edit** button.
2. Select the appropriate floor from the **Floor** dropdown menu.
3. Save the changes.

Assigning rooms to floors allows iNELS Harmony to organize the hotel structure according to the physical building layout and improves room management and navigation throughout the system.
