Signing in

Three addresses, one set of accounts, and what to change on day one.

Harmony has one set of accounts shared by all three apps. Which app you end up in is decided by your role, not by the address you typed.

The three addresses

Replace <your-server> with the address your installer gave you — something like http://10.10.20.5:81.

Your first sign-in

A brand-new installation ships with a single account so that somebody can get in:

Change the default password

1

Sign in to Administration

Go to http://<your-server>:81 and use the default credentials above.

2

Open Users

It is in the left sidebar. The page is admin-only, so you will only see it while signed in as an Admin.

3

Edit the Administrator account

Click the pencil icon in its row.

4

Set a real password and a real email

Use an address the hotel actually controls — password resets and notifications depend on it.

5

Save, then sign out and back in

Confirm the new password works before you walk away from the machine.

If you cannot get in

"Invalid credentials"

Check for a trailing space in the email address, and that Caps Lock is off. Then ask an administrator whether your account is still marked Active in Users — a deactivated account gives exactly this message.

The page does not load at all

That is the server or the network, not your account. Ask whoever looks after the system to check Administration → Server.

You are bounced straight back to the login page

Your role has no access to that app. Use the address for your own role from the table above.

It works from one computer but not another

The hotel may have restricted access by IP address. An administrator can check the allow list in Settings → Security.
