# Gateways & Connectivity

### Adding a Gateway

The first step in configuring iNELS Harmony is to add a gateway that connects the hotel system to the iNELS installation.

### Supported Gateway Types

* **BUS Gateway** – for wired iNELS BUS installations.
* **eLAN Gateway** – for iNELS Wireless installations

### Configuration Procedure

1. Navigate to **Service Interface → Gateways**.
2. Click **Add Gateway**.

3. Select the appropriate gateway type:

* **BUS** for wired systems.
* **eLAN** for wireless systems.

4. Enter the following connection details:

* IP Address
* Username
* Password

5. Click **Save**.
