Step 1 · Hotel details

Five minutes of work that everything else inherits.

This is the quickest step in the whole setup and the one every other screen inherits. Go to Settings, and stay on the Hotel tab.

What to fill in

1

Hotel name

What guests should see. It appears on screens, in the browser tab, and in every email Harmony sends. Use the trading name — "Grand Palace Hotel", not "Grand Palace Hospitality s.r.o."

2

Hotel logo and hotel image

Choose a file and click Update. A PNG with a transparent background, around 200 px wide, works best for the logo. The image is a photograph of the property and is optional.

3

Check-in and check-out times

For example 14:00 and 11:00. These are not just labels — see below.

4

Reservation ID prefix and suffix

The text wrapped around each booking number. With a prefix of RES_ a booking reads RES_00042. Leave the suffix empty unless you have a reason.

5

Guest ID prefix and suffix

The same idea for guest records — GID_ gives GID_00012.

6

Click Save changes

Bottom right of the Hotel tab. It saves this tab only.

The two time fields do real work

Check-in and check-out times are the reference point for:

  • the arrival and departure times the booking wizard suggests;

  • which bookings count as "arriving today" and "departing today" on the reception dashboard;

  • the Late check-out service on a booking;

  • any automation you write around arrival or departure.

Use the hotel's real published policy. If weekends differ, use the weekday value — reception can adjust an individual booking.
