# Administration

For installers and IT — nine steps from an empty system to a hotel ready for guests.

**Who this section is for:** the person commissioning the system — an integrator, an installer, or the hotel's IT contact. It assumes you can reach the hotel network and have the gateway addresses to hand.

If you work at the front desk or in housekeeping, you do not need this section.

Setting a hotel up is nine steps, and the order matters: you cannot put a device in a room that does not exist, or a room on a floor that has not been created.
